Creating an Abstract Image:
1.
This was a tutorial by Jon Valliere

Ok! In this tutorial im going to cover the basics to creating a realistic abstract image in photoshop.
 2.
IM going to open "image001.jpg" (right click the image on the left and save "target as")
This is going to be our base guide image. This image isn't going to appear in the final product.NOTE : Abstract images will include many layers, so make your "Layer" window kinda of big.
 3.
IM going to use brush 48 @ 48 px.
Set Opacity to 100% and Flow to 100%
Make a new layer
Cover the image in colors that are somewhat close to the actual picture.

   4.
Now we are going to move our image layer to the top and set the Fill to 65% Create another layer between the first painted layer and the top image.
   5.
Choose another random brush with a smaller px size. IM going to use 63 @ 29px.
This time, let's try to be more accurate with the brush. Feel free to change the size of your brush. And brush type.

 6.
Now we are going to play with more colors and Flow percentages with our brush. Feel free to make as many layers as you need from now on. I would recommend continually using different brushes and flow percentages.
7.
This is what I ended up with. Your results may vary
